A graduate of Suffolk University Law School, Attorney Katelyn A. Desautels is a welcome addition to the Law Office of Robert W. Kovacs, Jr. Previously a Senior Associate at Citizens Disability, LLC, her primary responsibility involved managing all aspects of her cases from beginning to end. Not only has Attorney Desautels represented clients at disability hearings in front of Administrative Law judges throughout the country, she also has a deep understanding of Title II and Title XVI Social Security Disability benefits.
Attorney Desautels also worked extensively as an Associate Litigation Attorney at Lustig, Glaser, & Wilson, P.C., a collection law firm. She represent various financial institutions and other clients regarding contract disputes at motion hearings, small claim magistrate trials, and other legal proceedings in District Courts throughout Massachusetts. She managed high-volume caseloads and engaged in settlement negotiations with opposing counsel and pro se defendants.
Having worked for the National Labor Relations Board of Los Angeles, Attorney Desautels offers a unique skill set to the firm regarding her extensive experience and education in the field of law. She is admitted to the Massachusetts, District of Massachusetts, and United States District Court bars.
